Scenic Drive Day

Today we left our cozy cottage to make our way to Stirling.  We had no firm plans but ended up seeing so much!

In addition to saying “that’s ssooo pretty” 10 million times came 2 new phrases. 1. Ohh. Look at that waterfall  and 2. That’s where I want to live

We took the road through glencoe. And it was stunning. Mountains, streams, waterfalls, and a bit barren compared to our drive along Loch Ness

We have a ton more photos of this part - but won’t bore you

Our next stop happened when Missy yelled “Rob Roy”  Shan thought I wanted a drink. 😜. But saw a sign saying turn here to visit his grave.   So after a hard left turn we were going down a very narrow road for a few miles and then we came upon a village church.  Walked around paid our respects but took off on our new favorite activity - Hiking

So from - we hit an area of the road that was flooded - but also saw more Coos.  So of course we turned around to go visit these Coos

We wrapped up our day with a visit to the National William Wallace Monument.  You can see this monument from miles away

We have had an ok dinner and are now relaxing in our room in a hotel built around 1750!
