Tuscany

 Buongiorno.... today was a full day in the country...

Yes, it was worth it and yes, it looks just like what you think!!

We met up with our tour group for...Tuscany on a Vespa.  Vespas are the cutest scooters around and I've been looking forward to this tour since we booked it. 

We loaded into a van to head up the hill to scooter school...yes, scooter school. No one is allowed to drive without a lesson and demonstration of ability.

We listen to the instruction and then it was my turn to drive...so...I will start by saying it looks easier than it actually is...after watching so many people zoom around Naples and Rome, I figured we would be good to go.

It started out good until you have to turn...then panick sets in and your hand naturally turns on the acceleration and the same time your feet hit the ground all involuntary.  I made it a few times around the track then my nerves started making me doubt if I could do it and decided to take a break...next up was Missy's turn. She made it just 2 laps and was the first person told they had failed and would be relegated to the Tuk Tuk   One more person was relegated and we formed the Tuk Tuk Gang!

Anyway...we ended up riding up the hill/mountain in a 50 year old Tuc Tuc...

It was THE best decision as we got to see so much more being passengers...

We zoomed past the group then waited for them at the top of the hill in a village where we had snacks

After our break we stopped at an olive Grove

From here we went to lunch at a winery and did some wine tasting. Then it was time to head back down the hill in the Tuc Tuc...there's nothing like flying down a mountain side in a three wheeled suped up scooter..
